MineEnchants is a clean, SEO‑friendly reference for Minecraft items and enchantments. If you play Minecraft, it helps you quickly make the most out of your XP — whether you’re deciding what to enchant, checking compatibility, or figuring out max levels. It’s now available in English and Spanish.
The story
I started this project back when AI wasn’t that common in developers’ workflows. My approach was simple: create categories for items and enchantments, add one example in each, then build pages one by one with a heavy focus on usability, UI, and UX. I also forced myself to use SEO keywords instead of my usual preferred titles.
Then I did the math — about 70+ items and 40+ enchantments to add and verify.
Yes, the pages are dynamically generated in Next.js, but the real work was still there: adding each item, checking every enchantment, and validating all the relationships one by one. It was exhausting. And then the perfectionism hit.
Fast forward
I started playing Minecraft again with a friend, and the need for this tool came back. This time I decided to use AI to finish and ship it. I tried both Claude and Codex (and I’m probably moving fully to Codex), and I’ll share more about that soon.
Most importantly: it’s live now. Not another dead GitHub repo.
